Wonderful classic Italian restaurant experience. Great selection of Italian wine a
nd professional service. The food is delicious! I loved the garlic rolls, the salad with the entree with delicious house dressing. The marinara sauce and homemade pasta were outstanding. The portions are very large as well. We also had suponi for dessert, and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back.

Celebrated my father's sixtieth birthday here and I've never seen a staff be more accommodating! We were a pretty large group of people but the staff was on it at all times and really helped make my father's day. Huge shoutout to Dorian, Stephanie and our Host Reza for the remarkable hospitality.
That being said, even if the service was horrendous, I'd still give it five stars for the food alone. Their bread has to be some of the best bread I've ever had. I could go there and be satisfied on that alone. As a vegetarian, there are a decent amount of options to choose from. We started with a wedge salad which was good but honestly nothing special. I also tried the eggplant parmesan, penne vodka with vegetables added, and ravioli all of which were outstanding.
Overall, it was a great experience! I highly recommend!

Top notch Italian restaurant! Service by Dorian was impeccable. One of the best chicken parm’s and shrimp scampi’s we’ve had. Garlic knots are addicting. Our favourite restaurant in Pompano!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | A Christmas Eve to Remember – Dorian is a Star!
"We spent our Christmas Eve at Gianni’s, and it was truly the highlight of our holiday season. While the food was absolutely spectacular—as it consistently is every single time we visit—what truly made the night unforgettable was the exemplary service provided by our waiter, Dorian.
Dining out on a busy holiday can sometimes feel rushed, but Dorian made us feel like the world had slowed down just for us. He truly enchanted our table with his effortless charm and warmth. It is rare to find someone who balances such high-level professionalism with a genuine, magnetic personality.
Dorian didn't just serve us; he curated our entire evening. His presence brings a certain magic to the room, and quite frankly, Gianni’s wouldn't be the same without him. He has a way of making a great meal feel like a special event, and his dedication to his craft is evident in every detail.

Loved our dinner at Gianni’s in Pompano (on East Atlantic Blvd.)!! The food is deserving of more than 5 stars! Service was also excellent! Chicken Franchese was so delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try other items at this Italian standout. Noise level is high so take that into consideration if that matters to you. Well worth a visit for stellar food and drinks!!

Tried Giannis last night. Heard about it and wanted to see if it was as good as everyone says. Well, it wasn't good... nope... it was a stellar experience. From the moment we were greeted and sat, we were in good hands. The service from Rosa was confident excellence. She knows the wine list and menu and we appreciated her input. Garlic rolls arrived and they were so good, I had to move basket away to not ruin my appetite. Ordered a nice super Tuscan for $60 at guidance of Rosa. Perfect! Salad included with dinner and as hearts of romaine with a carrot and covered in Gorgonzola crumbles and aged balsalmic vinaigrette that was a family recipe from Sicily. Best salad I've had in a while. Veal pizziola was phenomenal and had a few Kalamata olives for flavor. Shrimp scampi was great. Rosa also brought us a loaf of Tuscan bread by surprise -- and it will make great sandwiches for tomorrow. Pricewise... a bargain. Such a perfect dinner. We are 100% going back... often

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. Enjoyed a delicious caprese, chicken francese, linguine and meatballs; followed by a yummy dessert. Service was wonderful as well.

Food was delicious. Staff were amazing. Seated right away, not an extensive menu to make yourself indecisive. Old Italian-American classics but attention to detail. Erika, our server, was very sweet and consistently checked on us and kept refilling our drinks. Fresh bread, calamari that was cut perfectly — not too thin, excellent cold crisp salad, and a portion of chicken parmigiana that was too much to eat in one sitting. Will definitely be returning.

🍽️ Atmosphere & Ambience
Gianni’s has been a trusted local favorite since 1989, and it still holds its charm. The ambience remains warm and inviting, though the dress code felt a bit more casual than on previous visits. The restaurant was packed—reservations are definitely a smart move.
🧑🍳 Service
Joseph J took care of us, and service was solid throughout the evening. While we didn’t receive garlic rolls or Italian bread like some other tables, what we did get was memorable.
🍴 Food & Drink
We came craving veal parmigiana, and Gianni’s delivered. The dish was rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The shrimp scampi was another standout—the fettuccini tasted freshly made, and the garlic butter sauce was perfectly balanced. The salad was crisp and well-dressed, and the garlic rolls we *did* get were absolutely addictive. A glass of chianti rounded out the meal beautifully.
💰 Value
Generous portions, authentic flavors, and a well-paced dinner service make Gianni’s a reliable choice. It’s not just about the food—it’s the whole experience.
🌟 Overall Impression
Gianni’s continues to earn its reputation as one of our favorite Italian spots in the Fort Lauderdale area. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, it’s a place we’ll keep coming back to.

Our first visit to Gianni’s tonight and we were not disappointed! The rolls & bread were fresh and delicious. Our salads both the House & Caesar were surprising and had us really enjoying the flavors and freshness. Then our main course came and they were all top notch. The Seafood Marinara was so full of a perfectly cooked variety of seafood and the pasta was steaming and also cooked to perfection. The Veal Marsala was also cooked to perfection and so very tender as expected along with delicious sauce and also perfectly cooked pasta with beautiful sautéed mushrooms. The third dish was baked Ziti Marinara and our daughter was pleased with the dish it looked terrific. We were so full from the generous portions that we have another meal left over. We wanted to end the night with something a little sweet so we got a Tiramisu to take home. The only reason I did give all 5star is the Atmosphere I gave a 4star due to the proximity of the seating and the noise level was so loud from having that many people in that close of quarters. Our server Nick was excellent very polite and took care of us with zero complaints. He offered all of the specials and was very familiar with the details. We ended up ordering from the main menu but so many delicious sounding options! We would definitely visit again but likely come right at opening for smaller crowds.
